TowerIQ, Inc. is an innovative company, developing and deploying next generation public-safety devices. We design and manufacture universal, robust, and reliable distributed radio systems for critical building services. Our Tactical Series and UniDAS platforms enable property owners to provide required emergency responder communications inside their building's while also supporting critical building infrastructure via industry wireless standards.

As a the Chief Financial Officer at TowerIQ you will join an international team completely dedicated to providing unbeatable value to emergency responders, property owners, and TowerIQ service partners. Our team of product developers and RF engineers are involved at all stages of building construction, from discovery, architectural planning, construction and building acceptance testing and are the subject matter experts at in-building two-way emergency responder communications. We are a rapidly growing company with a wholly owned subsidiary based in Kyiv, Ukraine, and are opening additional domestic offices to provide support our national distributors and service partners.

To capitalize on our unmatched product, services, distribution, and industry revolutionizing products about to be announced, we are searching for a Chief Financial Officer to provide expert guidance, reporting, and management with our staff, customers, and vendors.

This position is a equity vesting position.

                              What You Will Do

                              • Assess and evaluate financial performance of the organization and its revenue centers.

                              • Work with divisional teams to negotiate, execute, and control budgets.

                              • Oversee the month, quarterly, and year end closeouts.

                              • Prepare and present monthly financial statements across both revenue and regional categories.

                              • Investigate variances between actual vs. budgeted results.

                              • Create and established bi-annual financial objectives along side the operational programs.

                              • Work with external CPA firms to generate audited financial statements.

                              • Forecast and manage cash flow.

                              • Oversee effective billing and collections.

                              • Maintain banking relationships.

                              • Directly manage Ukraine based accountant for Ukraine subsidiary.

                              • Oversee the perpetration and timely filing of all local, state, and federal returns.

                              • Enhance and implement accounting systems, processes, tools, and control systems.

                              • Be innovative and creative bringing new ideas to the team.

                              • Develop trusting rapport with all who interact with TowerIQ.

                              What You Need

                              • Enthusiasm and respect for the life-safety mission.

                              • Great communication skills, phone etiquette, and the ability understand technobabble and explain in English.

                              • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.

                              • Prior professional experience as a CFO or divisional comptroller.

                              • Experience working with external auditors, internal controls, and other compliance related issues.

                              • Experience in coordinating with IT staff to manage and implement accounting systems.

                              • Excellent analytical, reasoning, and problem solving skills.

                              • High organized and can do attitude.

                              • Ability to work independently with initiative and attention to detail.

                              • Valid passport with no travel restrictions to Ukraine.

                              What Helps

                              At TowerIQ you will have a working relationship with all the acronyms of the Fire Alarm industry including Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJ), Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing Engineers (MEP), General Contractors (GC), Electrical Contractor (EC) and Fire Alarm Manufacturers and Dealers, as they look to TowerIQ to provide expert advice on these new systems. Compensation is commensurate with experience as well as incentive payments based upon negotiated targets.
